A girl student of Biswa Bharati was forced to lick a bedsheet that was wet in her own urine. The lady warden who forced her to do so told media that it was the medicine to stop bed-wetting. This incident set on a flurry of scorching comments in in.msn.com from the fellow readers against the warden, the VC of Biswa Bharati and obviously the administration.
After going through almost all the comments I found irresponsible and insensitive attitudes of our society except the comments of Haridas, Ranjit Kumar, BoBy, Edat Mohanadas and Rajendra (this 5 out of 161 comments). The main cause is the ignorance and insensitivity of the warden. The warden lacks proper training also. It is my apprehension that all the persons those who had made these comments are equally insensitive. Added with ignorance they are also capable of precipitating greater havoc to the society. So please let us not give verdict. Let us be sensitive, let us be soothing, let us be pardoning, let us have a patient hearing to others' cause- be it the child, her parents, VC, warden or officials. Ultimately they are from our society and not landed from planet Mars.
