Arthur Ashe - The great tennis player and his philosophy of life

Arthur Robert Ashe, Jr. (Jul 10,1943 to Feb 6,1993) was the greatest tennis player of history. Ashe, an African-American won three Grand Slam titles during his career.
In 1980s, Ashe was infected with HIV from a blood transfusion during his second heart surgery. He succumbed to death from AIDS-related pneumonia on Feb 6, 1993.
He founded the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health before his death. Two months before his death, he founded the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health.
His philosophy of life may be discerned in one of his comment:
After he declared that he was a victim of AIDS, one of his admirer asked him-
"Why God has only chosen you for this deadly disease?"
Ashe's eternal answer was -
"In this world 5 crores children start playing tennis.
Out of them 5 lacs children learn how to play tennis.
Five thousands can reach the Grand Slam Tournament.
Fifty players get to play Wimbledon.
Four players can reach the semifinals.
Two get the chance to play the final.

When I was flying on the heaven flaunting the Champions Trophy, I did not ask God why you have chosen me among all these men. In pain, today, I shall not ask God why me?"
